Academic, Professor Paul Tapsell speaks with Chris about his recent article detailing the cultural gulf of perception between James Cook and the men for whom he was captain on the Endeavour with that of the Tahitian warrior priest, or Tohunga, Tupaia. This Tahitian Rangitira, or noble, was their guide and interpreter around these southern seas.
