Justine Murray joined weavers from around the country and the world at the five day International Weaving Indigenous Symposium in Rotorua.
Beverly Anaru, educationalist, recalls the tutelage she received from the legendary weaver Emily Schuster who died in 1997.
Justine asks the Chief executive of Te Runanga o Ranginui, Kimiora Rawiri what impact the imminent closure of the mortuary services at Tauranga Hospital will have for the Iwi and whether this damages future Iwi relationships with crown agencies, following the District Health Board's failure to consult with Māori.

Victor Walker nō Te Aitanga a Hauiti reflects on the 2007 experience of unearthing a cemetery dating back to the arrival of the first missionaries to the East Coast of the North Island, in the grounds of the Tolaga Bay- Uawa School.
JC Sturm (1927 - 2009) and Paora Kruger (1925- 2009) are remembered.
