A campaigner for the winner of the Western Maori seat, Labour's Adrian Rurawhe, says she's doubtful he will be able to bring about any change for tangata whenua in the next few years; Meanwhile, The new Labour MP for Tamaki Makaurau wants his constituents to thrive, and is willing to work with the Maori Party to make it happen; The Maori Party's Marama Fox is also focussed on improving the lives of tangata whenua, and will work with any party to develop policies to do that; A new digital evaluation tool is expected to help Maori agribusinesses find out how best they can use their land for initiatives such as sheep and beef farming or harvesting Manuka honey.
