Optimists and pessimists argued over who is getting more of the pie following the presentation of the Government’s budget in the House today.
In his speech the Finance Minister Steven Joyce outlined the current state of the economy and the government’s plans for spending.
After that speech the debate began with speeches from each of the party leaders.
