Green MP Steffan Browning has critiqued New Zealand's use of pesticides banned elsewhere calling it a "chemical cowboy country".
Steffan Browning first joined Parliament as an MP in 2011 and is one of 15 who are giving farewell speeches before they depart for good.
He said the the fallout of pesticide use could possibly be the biggest epidemic facing New Zealand.
