My Name Was Judas by CK Stead - Part 5

Jesus attends Judas' wedding in Nazareth and tells of his time in the caves near the Dead Sea with the Essenes. As part of his initiation he has spent 40 days and nights fending for himself in the desert. Two years after the wedding Judith dies in childbirth. Jesus returns to comfort Judas. Whilst visiting he preaches to the people of the town and then asks Judas to accompany him on the road.
