A convicted murderer who was being sought by the Auckland police has handed himself in.
Police said Christopher Gregory Thomas, 36, was in breach of his parole conditions.
A warrant for his arrest was issued and he was recalled to prison following an alleged violent incident and threats in Massey on Monday.
Thomas handed himself into the Henderson Police Station just before 10pm last night.
