A mini tornado hit western New South Wales evening as severe thunderstorms moved across parts of the state.
The mini tornado hit Dubbo in the west of the state about 5pm on Monday, causing damage to some homes and property.
A severe thunderstorm also hit central parts of Sydney, bringing hailstones, lightning, heavy rain and flash flooding.
