Nominations have opened for the 2015 Fonterra elections.
This year elections are being held for three shareholder-elected directors for Fonterra's board of directors.
Elections are also being held for two members of the directors' remuneration committee, and 12 members of the shareholders' council.
Current Fonterra Directors Blue Read, Nicola Shadbolt and John Wilson retire by rotation, but are eligible for re-election.
Candidates for the directors' election will be announced in mid-October.
