A helicopter's been brought in to help in the search for a young boy in Horowhenua.
Police have launched a search in Waitarere Forrest, near Waitarere Beach north of Levin for 10-year-old Alexander Fisher.
He went missing from the domain near the forest in the early hours of this morning.
Dog units, officers, search and rescue teams are also involved in looking for the boy, who is known as Alex.
