The hunt for an Upper Hutt man who skipped bail is over after he was caught by police.
The Armed Offenders Squad and Welllington Police were searching for Robert Bromley in the Riverstone Terraces area this afternoon.
The police said the 43-year-old was now in police custody.
A warrant was issued for his arrest yesterday at the Hutt Valley District Court for a breach of bail.
State Highway 2 has re-opened in the Riverstone Terraces area following the police operation.
