Detectives are carrying out forensic tests at a house in a Waikato town where a 29-year-old woman was found dead this morning.
The death of the woman, whose body was found at a property in Meremere at about 7am, is being treated as unexplained.
Police are trying to piece together the circumstances surrounding her death, and will be speaking to local residents.
A post-mortem examination is being carried out, and the coroner has been notified.
