The cause of a fire that killed three young people in Hamilton nearly a year ago remains a mystery, with police now handing the case over to the coroner.
Toni Johnston, 23, Jake Hayes, 19 and Connor Sweetman, 17, died when fire engulfed an old villa in the central city on November 15 last year.
The original police and Fire Service investigation focussed on whether someone started the fire.
After an independent investigation there is nothing to suggest that was the case, but if any new information comes to hand it will be considered.
