A man has been arrested following a series of burglaries in Wellington's business district, including one where $10,000 was stolen.
The arrest comes after police released CCTV footage showing a man breaking into one business on Lambton Quay and taking more than $10,000 worth of collectable bank notes from the till.
That was one of more than eight burglaries reported in the area last week.
A man was arrested last night and has been charged with 13 counts of burglary.
