A man crushed between two trucks in Christchurch earlier today has died.
Detective Sergeant Colin Ballie said it appeared the man got trapped between a parked truck, and a moving truck and trailer unit, at a freight delivery yard near Christchurch airport.
He said the police had completed a scene examination and some witnesses had been spoken to, but others were yet to be formally interviewed.
WorkSafe was also investigating.
The man's next of kin had been informed, but his name was yet to be released.
