Fire crews in Auckland are working to clear up several flooded properties in Omaha due to heavy downpours.
The Fire Service said it had responded to at least six flooding incidents in the past few hours, all within a three-street vicinity.
Crews have unblocked a drain at one home and were using a pump to clear water in a nearby basement.
MetService said heavy rainfall will continue in eastern parts of Auckland until the evening.
