Hundreds of Qantas passengers were left queuing for hours at Wellington Airport today after the check-in system crashed.
Qantas said the problem was caused by a network outage affecting a telecommunications provider.
Staff were forced to check in passengers manually.
Early morning flights to Brisbane and Sydney were delayed for at least three hours.
The returning flight from Sydney to Wellington was delayed by about an hour.
No other airlines were affected.
