A toy gun has sparked an armed police callout in a Wellington suburb.
Police were called to Rua St in Lyall Bay shortly after 2pm today, after a member of the public reported three men had pointed a gun and threatened them.
Police said they later discovered the gun was an imitation.
They have arrested two men, are looking for third and are considering laying charges.
