Three people have died in three separate car crashes since Friday morning.
One person was killed in the Northland town of Waipu at 8am today.
Police said there were two people in the car, which left the road and rolled near Finlayson Brook Road.
Last night, a 25-year-old man died after his car rolled near Dunedin Airport and ended up on its roof.
Yesterday, an 89-year-old woman died after she had spent a day in Nelson hospital following a car crash on Thursday afternoon in Motueka.
Police are investigating whether she died because of the crash - or if she had other health problems.
