The Canterbury police have charged two people with robbing three youths, with an imitation firearm.
The aggravated robbery happened just before midnight last night in the suburb of Parklands.
Detective Sergeant Nicola Reeves said the victims were not physically injured but had been left shaken by the robbery.
Two men, 28 and 22, had been charged and will appear in the Christchurch District Court tomorrow.
