Head of doctors' college injured in quad bike accident

The president of the College of General Practitioners is in hospital following a quad bike accident in Auckland.

Tim Mallow suffered serious injuries in the accident on Tuesday and is in a stable condition in hospital.

A spokesperson for the College said it had received many messages of concern and support for Mr Mallow.

Mark Peterson will be acting president until Mr Mallow can resume his duties.
