A man has been airlifted to hospital after a four vehicle crash in Waikato.
Emergency services were called to the crash on State Highway 1 south of Putaruru.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter airlifted a man who had been driving one of the vehicles to Waikato Hospital with abdominal and chest injuries
Several others, including two children, were taken by ambulance to Tokoroa Hospital.
