A two-year-old boy is in a critical condition in Auckland's Starship hospital after being hit by a car in south Auckland.
Police spokesperson Shelley Nahr said he was struck on Hollyford Drive in Clover Park just after midday.
Police were speaking to the driver of the vehicle, she said.
