A child remains in a critical condition in intensive care in Waikato Hospital after a fatal collision between two cars in Te Kuiti yesterday in which two people died.
A woman who was in the same car as the child and the two people who were killed was also seriously injured. She has been transferred to Auckland Hospital.
Police were still keen to hear from people in a passing car who would have seen the crash.
