A man is dead after he got into trouble while whitewater kayaking on the West Coast
The police say the 20-year old man was kayaking with a group down the Whitcombe River, but got into difficulty in the rapids in Colliers Gorge yesterday afternoon .
They say he was unconscious when pulled from the water and attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
