The police have still made no arrests in relation to the death of an Auckland woman who died from her injuries after escaping from the boot of a car.

Jindarat Prutsiriporn, 50, died in Middlemore Hospital after falling from the boot of a moving car in Papatoetoe last week.

The police said she had links to Auckland's crime scene, which they were investigating.

They said they were following several lines of inquiry, but declined to elaborate on what those were, saying they needed to ensure a thorough and robust investigation.
