A woman charged with the murder of a four-year-old girl is due to face trial later this year.
The 44-year old, who has name suppression, appeared in the High Court in Auckland this morning where Justice Moore set the trial date for November.
Maggie Renee Watson was found dead in her Onehunga home in August last year.
The police initially thought her death was an accident, but following the results of a second post-mortem, a homicide investigation was launched.
The woman has been remanded in custody.
