An Auckland man on the run from the police is suspected of two failed attempts at robbery this morning.
A warrant for the arrest of 27-year-old Ricky Batalliard was issued yesterday after the police say he threatened officers with a gun, then fled in a stolen silver Hyundai station-wagon.
Police believed he had tried to commit two aggravated robberies in south Auckland this morning.
They said he was extremely dangerous, likely to be armed, and should not be approached.
He was described as 185cm tall with a solid build and distinctive facial tattoos.
