Cheap fruit and veg lead to food price dip

Food prices dipped in May due to cheaper fruit and vegetable prices.

Official figures show prices fell 0.5 percent last month, following a small rise the month before.

Tomatoes and potatoes were cheaper, while meat, poultry and fish rose slightly.

On an annual basis, food prices fell 0.3 percent compared with May last year.
