A man has serious injuries after falling 20 metres down a cliff at Kawakawa Bay near Auckland.
The Fire Service said it had received reports of a fisherman falling down the cliff at about half past ten this morning.
When they arrived, shift commander Scott Osmond said the man was lying on the rocks at the bottom of the cliff.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter winched him to safety.
