Men sentenced over Queenstown kidnapping and assault

Two men involved in a kidnapping and assault in Queenstown two years ago have been sentenced in the Invercargill District Court.

Pita William Wilson, 40, from Glenorchy, was sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison for his role in the kidnapping of three men in late 2014.

Mark Junior Taylor, 19, who had been found not guilty of the kidnapping charges but guilty of injuring with the intent to injure, was sentenced to three months community detention and 160 hours of community work.
