The benchmark NZX 50 has gained 10 points, closing at at 3413 on turnover of $100 million.
Fletcher Building was down 3 cents at $6.61, Telecom up 1 cent to $2.33 and Chorus up 8 cents to $3.40.
Sky City Entertainment was down 4 cents to $3.81, Contact Energy up 8 cents to $4.95, Port of Tauranga unchanged at $10.95, Air New Zealand up 1.5 cents to $0.875, and The Warehouse up 8 cents to $2.65.
In currency markets at 5.05 pm the dollar was trading at 81.88 US cents, 77.30 Australian, 51.99 pence, 65.55 yen and 0.6215 euro. The TWI stands at 72.65.
