Bathurst Resources has date for heading

The listed miner Bathurst Resources says its case in the Environment Court over its Escarpment mine project will start later this month in Christchurch.

The Perth-based firm's plan to develop the Escarpment coalmine project in Buller faces three appeals from local environmental and residents' groups.

Bathurst's wholly owned subsidiary Buller Coal says the court will consider the relevance of the effects of the use of coal on climate change on 27 March.
