Listed casual labour provider Allied Work Force Group (AWF) has expanded its reach with a second purchase in a matter of months.

AWF has agreed to buy Nursing New Zealand, which provides home and community-based nursing and support services, in April for an undisclosed sum.

In February, it acquired temporary work provider Tradeforce NZ.

AWF managing director Simon Hull says the purchase of the South Island-based nursing company complements a service it operates in the North Island.

Mr Hull says the addition of Nursing New Zealand should add $5 million in revenue in the 2012-13 financial period.
