The Electricity Authority will target small and medium-sized businesses in a campaign encouraging them to shop around for the best electricity price.
The authority launched a campaign called What's My Number? last year for households, who are estimated to have saved about $9 million on their electricity bills between June and December.
From the middle of this year, the authority will extend the campaign to businesses.
It will launch an online tool where business owners can enter their electricity consumption.
This information will then be sent to power companies who can bid for a business' supply.
