Casino loses Auckland chief

Sky City Entertainment Group says its chief operating officer in Auckland has resigned.

Stuart Wing has stepped down after 18 months as chief operating officer and intends to return to Australia with his family.

Sky City's controversial offer to build a $350 million national convention centre in Auckland in return for gambling concessions from the Government - which would allow it to operate more "pokies" - recently sparked a furious public debate.
