Northland Port has appointed Graham Wallace as interim chief executive, replacing general manager Jim Smillie who is retiring.
Mr Wallace is a qualified accountant, who has been associated with the company for 18 years in a number of finance-related roles.
He says the new position will be an opportunity to drive the development of the company's extensive holdings in the Marsden Point area while enhancing its 50% investment in Northport.
