Listed retailer Briscoe Group is looking to expand its presence in the next couple of years.
The owner of the 79 Briscoes, Living and Giving and Rebel Sport chains made $102.5 million in the quarter to April - an increase of 6.46% compared with the same period last year.
Managing director Rod Duke says despite a sluggish retail sector the business is soldiering on with development plans.
He says the company is looking at developing a Briscoes store in Queenstown and a development is also likely to go ahead in West Auckland towards the end of 2013.
