NZ market down on Wednesday

The NZX50 index fell 20 points, or 0.6%, to close at 3510 on turnover of $84 million on Wednesday.

When the markets closed, the NZ dollar was at 75.19 US, 77.03 Australian, 47.73 pence, 59.87 yen and 0.5937 euro. The Trade Weighted Index was at 68.46.

Fletcher Building was down 8 cents at $6.30, Telecom was down 6.5 cents at $2.575, Chorus was down 5 cents at $3.15 and Contact Energy was unchanged at $4.86.

Sky City Entertainment was down 1 cent at $3.53 and Sky Network TV was down 8 cents at $5.05.

Auckland International Airport was unchanged at $2.58, The Warehouse was down 6 cents to $2.55 and Kathmandu was up 5 cents to $1.59.

Cavalier was up 3 cents to $1.45.

Comvita was up 25 cents to $3.15, Port of Tauranga was up 22 cents to $10.97 and Ecoya was up 5 cents to $1.10.

Trustpower was down 15 cents to $7.55, Mainfreight was up 2 cents to $9.42 and Sanford was down 7 cents to $3.98.
