Energy Mad to supply bulbs to US chain

Energy Mad is to supply energy-efficient lightbulbs to the Walgreen store chain in the United States.
The initial order for the chain's 8200 stores is worth $1.7 million, with regular restocking based on consumer demand.
The revenue from the order will flow through in the 2013 financial year.
Energy Mad's managing director Chris Mardon says it's pleasing the company's secured a substantial foothold in the United States, with such a large organisation.
Shares in Energy Mad rose on Thursday.
