Tourism Holdings has bought KEA Rentals and Sales' motorhome brands in Australia.
The company, which runs rental companies like Maui and Britz, as well as the Kiwi Experience bus operator and the Waitomo Caves, has bought the company from KEA New Zealand.
Chief executive Grant Webster says the KEA brand in Australia complements the company's existing Maui motorhome brand in Australia.
Mr Webster says there should be minimal disruption to KEA Australia's customers, as it will honor the terms, conditions and pricing offered by KEA Australia.
The acquisition is not expected to have a material effect on Tourism Holding's financial results for the year ending to the end of June 2012.
Shares in Tourism Holdings were unchanged at 55 cents on Friday.
