Another bond issue by Z Energy

Z Energy is contemplating another retail bond issue.

Chief executive Mike Bennetts says no decision has been made about the size of any issue, but it would likely be launched in mid July.

The money would be used to smooth out the company's debt maturity profile.

The retail fuel company raised $150 million through an oversubscribed bond issue in July last year, but it shelved plans for a second issue later that month.

Mr Bennetts says a decision is likely to be made in the next few weeks.
