Wakefield Health asks to up directors' fees

10:53 pm on 16 July 2012

Wakefield Health will ask shareholders to approve an increase in directors' fees.

The health provider wants to lift the pool from $400,000 which it set in 2008, to $420,000 - an increase of 5%.

The company also wants to change its name to Acurity Health Group to reflect that it now owns, or has stakes in, other hospitals than just its namesake Wakefield.

Its annual meeting is on 3 August.
