Seeka Kiwifruit Industries chairman Kim Ellis has resigned after pressure from three major shareholders Te Awanui Huka Pak, Fresh MD Holdings and DMS Orchard Management.
He has been replaced by a former director of Te Awanui and new Seeka director, John Burke, who will work closely with the Seeka chief executive.
Mr Ellis was appointed five years ago to bring strong public governance experience to the company.
