New Zealand market down 0.1% on Wednesday

The NZX50 fell 3 points, or 0.1%, to close at 3582 on turnover of $96 million on Wednesday.

When the markets closed the NZ dollar was at 81.24 US, 77.09 Australian, 52.04 pence, 63.83 yen and 0.6556 euro. The Trade Weighted Index was at 73.00.

Fletcher Building was up 9 cents to $6.43, Telecom was down 7 cents at $2.66, Chorus was up 1 cent at $3.15 and Contact Energy was up 2 cents at $5.00.

Sky City Entertainment was down 1 cent at $3.63, Sky Network Television was up 3 cents to $5.08, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare was up 1 cent at $1.91 and The Warehouse was unchanged at $2.67.

Mainfreight was down 15 cents to $9.20, Abano Healthcare was down 12 cents to $4.66, Diligent Board Member Services was down 5 cents to $3.90, Cavalier Corp was down 5 cents to $1.58, Nuplex was down 5 cents to $2.52 and Ryman was down 5 cents to $3.56.

Sanford was up 7 cents to $3.95, Kathmandu was up 5 cents to $1.70, AMP was up 5 cents to $5.30, Trade Group was up 4 cents to $3.77 and Goodman Fielder was up 3 cents to 64 cents.
