Australia's unemployment rate eased to 5.2% in July, with 14,000 jobs added.

The fall in unemployment was due to an upward revision in June's figures, which were originally set at 5.2 per cent by the Bureau of Statistics, but now adjusted ed to 5.3%.

The unemployment rate remained steady at 5.2%.

The fall in unemployment was generated by the addition of 9200 full-time jobs and 4800 part-time positions.
