Job advertisements remained flat in July due to a sluggish labour market recovery remains.
A monthly survey by ANZ New Zealand shows the number of jobs advertised in newspapers and online rose 0.7% last month, following a fall of 1.1% in June.
The monthly rise was driven by a 6% rebound in newspaper job ads, which offset a fall of 0.3% in online advs.
Unemployment stood at 6.8% in the June quarter, due to a fall in part time employment.
