Job advertisements have risen again.
The ANZ job index for August rose a seasonally-adjusted 0.9%, following a similar rise in July of 0.7%.
A 1.5% increase in online jobs off-set a 2.6% fall in newspapers.
ANZ economist Sharon Zollner says she doesn't expect that trend to change.
Job advertisements in Wellington and Canterbury rose, while Auckland fell.
In the regions, newspaper advertisements in Waikato, Hawke's Bay and Otago picked up in August, with a fall in Manawatu.
