Sales of new motor vehicles in Australia fell 2.8% in October.
Data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed 95,720 new vehicles were sold, seasonally adjusted, compared to a downwardly revised 98,436 in September.
AAP reports that in the year to October, new motor vehicle sales rose 8.6%, seasonally adjusted, from 88,163.
