Market barely moves

The NZX50 index fell 1 point to 4049, or 0.02%, on turnover of $143 million, on Monday.

Chorus fell 49 cents to $2.91 after the Commerce Commission cut what it can charge retail providers for broadband and voice services.

Telecom was up 1 cent to $2.32, Fletcher Building up 6 cents to $7.98 and Contact Energy up 7 cents to $5.39.

Sky TV Network was down 1 cent to $5.26, Fisher & Paykel Healthcare up 5 cents to $2.61 and The Warehouse up 8 cents to $3.13.

Xero rose 82 cents to $7.70, Vector rose 3 cents to $2.65, Hallenstein Glasson was unchanged at $5.08, Ryman was down 3 cents to $4.15 and Goodman Fielder was unchanged at 87 cents.

Port of Tauranga was down 5 cents to $13.15, Nuplex fell 2 cents to $2.94, TrustPower was up 5 cents to $8.45, Trade Me rose 3 cents to $4.25, Infratil fell 1.5 cents to $2.31.

Fonterra's Shareholders Fund rose 5 cents to $6.90 a unit, after launching on Friday at $5.50.

At 6.18pm the dollar was trading at 81.98 US, 78.74 Australian, 51.12 pence, 67.59 yen and 0.6289 euro.

The TWI was at 73.32.
